Bushcraft
Our Bushcraft sessions provide an environment where young people step outside the classroom and into the natural world. Our programme is designed to build confidence, resilience, and practical life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences.
Through activities such as shelter building, fire lighting, tool use, and woodland exploration, learners develop teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and a deeper connection with nature. We provide a safe, supportive environment where every individual can grow at their own pace and discover their strengths.
Bushcraft is more than survival—it’s about learning to adapt, respect the environment, and believe in yourself.
Young people can also access AQA unit awards in Bushcraft.
Alternative provision
At Elevate Farm Acres, we offer a supportive and engaging alternative provision designed to meet the individual needs of every young person. Our bespoke programmes combine hands-on learning with recognised AQA Unit Awards, helping students build confidence, skills, and a sense of achievement.
Learners take part in a wide range of practical activities, including animal care, horticulture, cookery, and bushcraft, providing meaningful opportunities to develop independence, teamwork, and resilience.
Our approach is centred on re-engagement, with the aim of supporting young people to successfully reintegrate back into school if appropriate, equipped with the skills and confidence they need to thrive.
Saturday Club
Our Saturday Morning Club at Elevate Farm Acres provides a relaxed and welcoming space for children to socialise, make new friends, and enjoy the outdoors.
Through fun, hands-on activities such as animal care, bushcraft, games, and seasonal crafts, children can build confidence, develop social skills, and feel part of a supportive group. The sessions are designed to be inclusive and engaging, allowing each child to join in at their own pace.
